Activities for the Armed Services

The British branch of Christian Science Activities for the Armed Services has carried on a helpful, effective program during the last twelve months. It reports substantial progress and good healing work.

In addition to the Manager of this British branch, eleven Christian Science Ministers and four Representatives do the field work. Ten Ministers and two Representatives serve in the United Kingdom. One Minister is in Germany, and the remaining Representatives are in Cyprus and aboard a Royal Navy ship.

Ministers and Representatives have helped those in the British Forces, at home and abroad, with problems of adjustment to life in the Armed Forces, with physical difficulties, and with family relations. They have also assisted some Christian Scientists to find the proper place in civilian life after being separated from the Forces. Ministers in the British branch also visit United States Armed Forces installations located in the United Kingdom.
