My first healing in Christian Science...

My first healing in Christian Science was instantaneous and was one of severe sinus trouble, from which I had suffered many years. The last attack was followed by a heart condition which confined me to my bed. One day, when the doctor had stated that he could do nothing further to help, a great fear that I was going to pass on overwhelmed me. The nurse who was helping me recommended that I try Christian Science.

That afternoon a practitioner was called and treatment begun. I explained to the practitioner that I had not been able to breathe normally through the nasal passages for many years. His answer was that in reality every idea in divine Mind, God, is an expression of right activity. He added that the functions and operations of Mind's idea are never subject to obstruction and cannot be impeded in their harmonious action. I was also told that this was the truth about man's whole being.

It was a wonderful revelation to me that in reality I was the expression of Love. That night my freedom came. The nasal passages were free and clear, and the healing has been permanent.
