As one who has received healing from reading the testimonies contained in the Christian Science literature, I should like humbly to give a testimony of my own.

A sister-in-law offered me the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy. I accepted it because I read good literature, but I was not conscious of its spiritual value. Still, I had heard it heals disease.

At that time I was troubled at intervals by a rumbling and deafening sound in the head. It would disappear with the use of medicine, but would return later. I decided I would read the textbook and use no more medicine. This I did, but with little or no understanding of what I read. One night as I took the textbook in my hands to read, the thought came to me, "Now, this is the truth." The healing came immediately. There was no convalescing, for I was entirely free.
