DANNY PROVES THE TRUTH

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Danny had been attending the Christian Science Sunday School for two years. He loved it and liked to memorize the truths which his teacher had taught him from the Bible and from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

One Sunday afternoon Danny went with his parents and another family for a drive in the country. He took his black cocker spaniel dog, Butch, with him. When they arrived at their destination, all the children and Butch ran up and down over the hilly country. When it was time to go home and their parents called them, all the children came laughing and scampering back to the cars.

They were almost ready to leave when Danny noticed that Butch was not with them. "We can't go without Butch," he said as he started off to find him, calling his name over and over again. After a while, the other children and then the parents took up the search, but still the dog did not come.
