Mankind
generally turn to religion because of the peace and comfort it has to offer.

the Manual of The Mother Church under the heading "Testimonials," Mary Baker Eddy writes in part.
"The
work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever," declares Isaiah.
To
most of us, at one time or another, comes the thought that we have done enough work for the time being and should have a rest.
