ANGEL CARE

Mankind generally turn to religion because of the peace and comfort it has to offer. That they do this shows they have some measure of faith that there is a God who cares for them.

In Christian Science, God and the modus operandi of His care are explained. This religion teaches that God, Mind, reveals His ideas to individual human consciousness, that divine Love governs, controls, and provides for one's well-being. The Psalmist said (Ps. 91:11), "He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways."

In the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy defines "angels" as follows (p. 581): "God's thoughts passing to man; spiritual intuitions, pure and perfect; the inspiration of goodness, purity, and immortality, counteracting all evil, sensuality, and mortality."
