I am most grateful for the support and guidance of Christian Science, which I have known since I was ten years of age. At that time I was entered as a pupil in the Christian Science Sunday School. My mother had been healed of tuberculosis and later became an active church worker and led a useful and purposeful life. Christian Science was our only physician in a family of seven.

I relied almost entirely on the prayerful work of my mother and others until I left college. Then circumstances forced me to become an earnest student of Christian Science and to apply what I had learned of its truths as taught in the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Since then I have had many proofs of the healing power of this Science.

At one time I was healed of an internal growth and a displaced organ solely by the activity of Truth in my consciousness. Working to cleanse my thought of all that was unlike God, such as resentment and condemnation, and endeavoring to lift my thought from the beliefs of mortal sense to the pure thoughts of divine Love, I became free and normal. I am so grateful to the practitioner whose patience and daily inspiration helped me to see the spiritual and perfect man of God's creation.
