Christ Jesus said (John 14:14), "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." Christian Science came to me about twenty years ago as the direct result of prayer. I can still clearly remember knowing that there was a right church for me and asking God to direct me to it.

At that time I was in my teens and was employed in a city office. One day my duties took me past a Christian Science church. I went to the serving on the following Sunday morning and knew that I had found what I was looking for. Ever since then I have attended this church. I enrolled as a pupil in the Sunday School, and through my attendance there, together with my own study, I learned the fundamentals of Christian Science, which later were to prove such a blessing to me.

The healing aspect of Christian Science had little significance in my early study, since I was in good health. However, later I was to prove with joy the healing effects of Truth when applied to both mental and physical difficulties.
