Through the study of Christian Science I have had many healings. The application of the truth of God's Word as explained in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, has always met my needs. Words alone cannot express how grateful I am for the understanding I have of this teaching.

Two years ago I was troubled with a burning sensation in my feet and a sharp pain in my knee. A friend who had had a similar condition described what had caused her difficulty. I then recalled what I believed had caused my trouble while hiking and climbing. I recalled that my friend had been incapacitated for some time and realized that constructive spiritual thinking was imperative if the fear that possessed me was to be overcome.

I worked all night to know that nothing could be out of place, because, in reality, I was God's perfect, spiritual child. In the morning I telephoned a Christian Science practitioner for help. This was lovingly given, and I went to work as usual, but on waking up the next morning, I found that I was completely numb on one side.
