Many years ago my husband and I had dear friends who were Christian Scientists. After visiting with them we always felt very uplifted and harmonious. This led me to purchase a copy of Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy. I was sincere and earnest in my study of it. Our children were enrolled in the Christian Science Sunday School, where they remained until they were twenty years of age. I also became a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church.

We have had many proofs of the healing efficacy of Christian Science. I had one outstanding healing which occurred after I fell down a steep flight of stairs and apparently broke some ribs. Although I could hardy breathe, I sang hymns of praise when I found out that I could move my hands and feet. I thanked God that error could not keep me down.

That week the subject of our Lesson-Sermon from the Christian Science Quarterly was "Sacrament," and I held myself in constant communion with our Father-Mother God. I had the help of a Christian Science practitioner, and within two days I was healed. I am also thankful for the healings of constipation, colds, boils, and of eczema in a very severe form.
