I could never express enough gratitude for all the blessings that Christian Science has brought to me and mine. Recently I had occasion to prove the truth of the following statement by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy (Science and Health, p. 120), "Health is not a condition of matter, but of Mind; nor can the material senses bear reliable testimony on the subject of health."

I was stricken with a serious organic condition. It was not diagnosed, and I do not know what name materia medica would have affixed to it; but the fear of passing on was with me constantly.

A Christian Science practitioner who was asked to work for me insisted that I be brought to the telephone. This was done, but I heard nothing of the truth that she expressed apart from one statement, which was, "You are not made up of parts." This truth so penetrated the mist of mortal mind that I was able to reason coherently. I realized that my real and only being could not be divided into organs, bones, blood, and so forth, but that my being was one—indivisible, inseparable, and indestructible, that it was spiritual, not material. As my thinking was spiritualized, improvement gradually took place.
