Signs of the Times
An editorial in the Yucaipa News-Mirror Yucaipa, California
A report from London states that a Church of England commission which made a study of the relation between prayer and physical healing has expressed doubt that cures of human ailments can result from spiritual means alone. This is a surprising conclusion.
The Founder of Christian religion, Christ Jesus, practiced the art of healing so successfully that he overcame virtually every form of mental and physical discord known in his time. Remarkable healings were achieved by his disciples, and the records show that physical healing through prayer was common among Christians for 300 years after the crucifixion.
