REFUSING TO BELIEVE GHOST STORIES
[Of Special Interest to Children]
Jack was a Christian Scientist and knew many truths of God and man.
The big girl who stayed with him when his mother was away was afraid of ghosts. She wanted to hurry past an old house where she said the ghosts lived. Jack wondered about this fear of ghosts. So he asked his teacher in the Christian Science Sunday School.
"There is no such thing as a ghost," his teacher told him. "When people talk about ghosts, they are telling ghost stories, or something which isn't true, but which is supposed to make you afraid."
