The Tuesday Evening Meeting

The Tuesday evening meeting of June 3, which took place in the Extension of The Mother Church following the 1958 Annual Meeting, is being shared by means of tape recording in English, French, and German, and by German, and by manuscript translations in Dutch, French, German, Spanish, and Swedish.

"Just what we needed," commented a church in Oregon, "so positive—so timely—so necessary. It was a feast long to be remembered according to resultant fruitage. We humbly and earnestly thank The Mother Church for this awakening and strengthening presentation."

A small church in New England declared as a direct result of the meeting that a member reconsidered her refusal to head a committee and "wholeheartedly took the assignment and knew it was the right thing to do." The report continued: "Another member who had declined reappointment was directed to accept and continue her work. ... After this meeting, our clerk received within three weeks a number of applications for membership."
