WITH HEALING MINISTRY
The
Saviour looked with tender eyes
Upon the needy multitude
And knew the healing touch of Christ
With holy ministry imbued.
Knew too that all within that place
Were cherished sons, beloved of Him,
Made in His likeness with no gift
Or vital faculty grown dim.
And knowing this, he healed the sick
Of ills that mortal sense had known;
He knew the Father makes man free
And perfect Love enfolds its own.
