Through the study of the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, as well as through working for the benefit of mankind by serving in church activities, I have found that Christian Science is the greatest blessing that has ever come into my life. It is therefore with deep gratitude and humility that I offer my testimony of its healing power.

Shortly after I had taken up the study of Christian Science many years ago, I witnessed a healing. Because of a nervous breakdown and other complications my mother had not slept for a week. I called a practitioner one night and told him my mother was crying constantly. He asked that I read for twenty minutes anywhere in Science and Health and then call him. I started to do as he requested, and in about ten minutes my mother stopped crying and dropped off into a normal sleep. About thirty hours later she awakened completely healed. This experience proved to me the healing power of Christian Science. As a result I became more interested in this religion than ever and joined The Mother Church and a branch church.

I have received many healings over a period of years, and I cannot find words enough to express my sincere gratitude for this practical religion. Christian Science is teaching me to lay down human will for the divine will and to separate in consciousness good from evil, the spiritual from the material. When the truth as taught by Christ Jesus is declared and when it is understood in its healing efficacy through the study of Mrs. Eddy's writings, love and harmony dispel discord and ignorance.
