I first read Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy in 1910, and I put it to the test when I was suffering from quinsy. For three days I was unable to eat any food. Then with the help of a Christian Science practitioner I was suddenly healed and so uplifted spiritually that I never again doubted that this religion is the only way to real health and happiness.

Influenza troubled me every winter till I took a firm stand against the suggestion of an epidemic. Then I did not get it any more. Through an accident, I received a severe blow, which caused so much pain and shock that I felt I was going to pass on. Then the thought came to me, "God is my Life," and the pain ceased. I knew I had once again touched the hem of Christ's garment, and I was free.

These physical healings are but a few of the blessings Christian Science has brought into my life. I am a member of The Mother Church, have had class instruction, and have taken a keen interest in branch church activities.
