Send Reports for Annual Meeting Early

As thought turns once again toward the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church to be held on June 3 this year, the Christian Scientist naturally thinks with gladness of the proofs of progress in Christian Science in his own church. Our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in providing in Article XIII, Section 1, of the Manual of The Mother Church for the reading of the reports of its officers at the Annual Meeting, has also included as an integral part of the meeting the reading of "general reports from the Field." These reports are gathered from letters received from branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, and from Christian Science Societies throughout the world, telling of experiences of spiritual growth of their membership through applying the truths of Christian Science, as well as the visible manifestations of that growth.

It is gratifying to receive these reports from the Field, and as many are read at the Annual Meeting as is possible in the period reserved for that part of the program. It is important that sufficient time be allowed for considering these reports. They should reach the office of The Christian Science Board of Directors by April 15, and if possible much earlier.
