I am very grateful for Christian Science and for the abundance of good that it has brought to me for many years. Our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, says in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." This truth has been demonstrated in my family many times. My grandmother was healed of erysipelas, and my parents, my brothers, and I have been healed of rheumatism, heart attacks, stomach trouble, headaches, sore throat, and various children's diseases.

Mrs. Eddy also says in the textbook (p. 43), "The divine must overcome the human at every point." I have learned that fear, hate, envy, and revenge do not emanate from God and therefore are not real or eternal. Hence we can always render null and void these evil suggestions and replace them with purity, spiritual understanding, love, and holy thoughts.

Gratitude fills my heart that our Leader gave Christian Science to the whole world. I express deep gratitude to God that the grandchildren in the families of my two brothers are the fifth generation to be learning what Christian Science is. At Sunday School they are taught to use Science in their daily lives and thereby remain well, wholesome, and happy. I pray with my whole heart every day: "Thank You, God.
