Signs of the Times

Dr. Trevor Davies in an article in The Christian World London, England

St. Bernard was right when he said, "The love of Jesus, what it is none but his loved ones know."

If we do not know, if we are unsure, then is there no vitality in our faith. Thomas, you will remember, could not bring himself to believe the incredible stories his fellow disciples told of Jesus being alive. "Except I shall see," he said, "I will not believe." .. . When he saw, then he believed and said, "My Lord and my God." Jesus replied, "Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." That must not yet have believed." That must not be misunderstood. It does not mean blind obedience to authority but to experience that which is real without ocular demonstration.
