RADIO PROGRAM No. 181 - Abiding in Perfect Peace

Speaker: Perhaps the greatest search going on in the world today is the search for inner peace, for a peace not subject to change or circumstance, not at the mercy of sickness or fear. Our guest today learned that perfect peace springs from God. It comes when we understand God as the one true source of security, harmony, well-being. Now I'd like you to meet Mrs. Gertrude E. Velguth of Flushing, Michigan, and hear her experience.

Mrs. Velguth: It began a number of years ago when I had a complete physical and nervous breakdown. Then I broke out with a serious condition of hives. It covered my entire body from my head to my feet. As a result, sleep was almost impossible, and for weeks I hardly slept at all.

The medical profession did everything in its power to diagnose the cause and alleviate the conditions, and stronger drugs were administered. Finally my condition was pronounced hopeless.
