Activities for the Armed Services

On May 27, 1955, Christian Science Activities for the Armed Services sent out a letter to all executive boards of Churches of Christ, Scientist, and Christian Science Societies. This letter invited each branch church and society to form a Christian Science Armed Services committee, if it did not already have one and if it thought it had a need of one. Since the mailing of this letter, many branch churches and societies in the United States and other countries have written this department that they either had a committee or had formed one.

Ohio

The armed services committee of a large branch church in Ohio writes us regularly about its activities and carefully arranges to send us the names and military addresses of those from the church and from the Sunday School who are in uniform.
