NO FEAR IN LOVE

"THERE is no fear in love," the Scriptures say;
It is not Love, our Father, that convicts.
The mortal pinioned by some foolish sin
Looks up and finds that sin alone afflicts.

To love the Father, as His law prescribes,
Is to admit no other source or might.
Who loves Him thus knows not the cloud of fear,
But walks serenely in eternal light.
