PEACE

When hope dawns bright as morning skies,
Peace glows as inward light,
And peaks of praise in calm arise
Above retreating night.

In stillness only angels know
Or inspired thought can hear
Peace comes—like evening's afterglow—
When hopes renewed appear.

In majesty of day's high noon
Peace reigns serene above,
When hearts at one with God commune
With all-harmonious Love.

Man lives as Spirit's constant ray
Whose Life can never cease;
Reflecting Love's irradiant day,
He knows God's perfect peace.
