My first healing was of lameness. Not long after calling a Christian Scientist for help I could walk almost normally. I was never so happy before, and I began to read Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Before very long the lameness was all gone. My next healing was an instantaneous healing of blood poisoning after the condition had reached an extreme stage.

One day following a slight snowstorm, a relative and I were in a car which skidded at the top of a long hill and went off the road. Immediately I declared, "There are no accidents in Mind." The car snapped off a fence post and came to a stop. The steering gear was bent, but I thanked God we were not injured.
