It is over ten years since my testimony appeared in the Sentinel; so I feel that it is again time to express my gratitude for Christian Science. The healings previously stated have been permanent, and through my progress in the truth other healings have taken place. A tendency to take cold has been destroyed, and unpleasant traits of character have been eliminated by the application of Christian Science to everyday living. This purification is bringing great joy.

I am grateful for the happy experience of reading in a branch church. At one time while reading, I felt that I was losing consciousness. I worked as we are taught in Christian Science and held firmly to the thought that as a beloved child of God, the offspring of divine Love, created in God's image and likeness, I was already perfect and complete. I clung to Mrs. Eddy's words regarding mortal and material sense (Unity of Good, p. 60), "This false sense of substance must yield to His eternal presence, and so dissolve." Almost immediately I was free. With the Psalmist I can say (Ps. 34:1), "I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth."

I should also like to tell of a healing I had while on vacation. One morning I awoke with severe abdominal pains. The truth was applied to the best of my ability, and a practitioner was called for help. She asked me to study page 151 of Science and Health where Mrs. Eddy says, "Every function of the real man is governed by the divine Mind." And farther on we read, "All that really exists is the divine Mind and its idea, and in this Mind the entire being is found harmonious and eternal." After a few days of prayerful work by the practitioner the problem was solved. Above all, I realized that if I was thinking rightly and loving God and my neighbor, I could reflect nothing but the universal harmony of divine Mind.
