Since childhood I have had Christian Science and have turned naturally to God in prayer for help in time of need. The result has always been a sense of protection, peace of mind, and physical well-being. The Bible and the Christian Science textbook. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, have been my most treasured possessions, and I have learned to depend upon God as the only power, as Father-Mother, and as Life, Truth, and Love. The ever-presence of God has become a conscious reality. It is now a blessed privilege to bear witness to the truth of His omnipotence and omnipresence.

The following instances will illustrate in part the reason for my gratitude to God, as well as for my appreciation of Mrs. Eddy's spirituality and of her understanding of the teachings of Christ Jesus. I had a complete healing of body burns caused by acid from an automobile battery. My clothing was destroyed wherever it came in contact with the acid. There has been ample supply where lack would have prevailed if it had not been for the knowledge I had gained though the study of Christian Science that God is always present to sustain His creation, man. Because he reflects Godlike qualities, man can manifest only completeness, goodness, abundance. I have been healed of grief for departed loved ones by realizing that man, created in the image and likeness of God, can never be separated from his creator. God is Life. The image of Life is as eternal as its source.

Three years ago a speeding automobile crashed into the rear of the car in which I was riding. My husband was badly shaken, but not injured. The impact affected my neck, back, hip, and leg. The following morning I found it impossible to lift my head from the pillow. There was no pain, however, except in my hip. After much prayerful work the entire condition was beautifully met, and I now have free use of my head, body, and limbs. God was my only physician.
