It is many years since I last sent a testimony to our periodicals, and I feel a great desire once again to testify to the healing and saving power of Christian Science.

On page 454 of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy says, "The understanding, even in a degree, of the divine All-power destroys fear, and plants the feet in the true path,—the path which leads to the house built without hands 'eternal in the heavens.'" I am most grateful for the degree of understanding which destroyed fear and doubt in my consciousness when my husband passed on. I was able to rest in the assurance of God's love, guidance, and protection and to make plans for a future adjustment in my life. The understanding of Truth I had gained proved a staff on which I could lean.

Mrs. Eddy writes on page 13 of the textbook, "Love is impartial and universal in its adaptation and bestowals." This was proved in the many expressions of love which were shown to me. Because of them I had complete confidence that God was guiding me step by step in arranging for my future home. Fear, doubt, and dismay were sometimes presented to my thought, but I had learned through the teachings of Christian Science that if we keep our thought filled with Truth and Love, there is no room for error to get in and disturb us. God never leaves us with our difficulties and problems half met.
