The testimonies in our periodicals have been of such inspiration and comfort to me that I want to express my gratitude in the hope that it may help others. Christian Science appealed to me because it is a positive, joyous way of life which teaches that our heavenly Father decrees not only health, but happiness and harmony as well, for His children. A realization of this helped me to change morbid, selfish thinking to a joyous consciousness of divine Love.

Our two children were born harmoniously and quickly through our complete reliance on God. Ten days after birth our second child manifested constipation. Help was sought from a Christian Science practitioner, and although the condition persisted for five days, the healing was complete. No medication was used, for we knew that, as Mrs. Eddy says (Science and Health, p. 167), "Only through radical reliance on Truth can scientific healing power be realized." I am grateful that our children have the privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School, where they learn to apply the truth in their own experience.

One healing for which I can never cease to be grateful is that of a sacroiliac sprain as a result of a fall. The healing took place during a Christian Science lecture, and there has been no return of the discomfort. My thought was so uplifted that I did not even think of the problem for several days after the lecture, although for two weeks previous to that time the pain had been constant and intense. This experience taught me that healing occurs when we turn entirely away from contemplation of the material and realize our at-one-ment with divine Spirit.
