Meetings to Develop Support

How happy we are to report on our meeting and the enthusiastic response and appreciation expressed by those who attended it!

This meeting was held with the permission of our executive board, and prayerful work in preparation for it was undertaken by all members of the Reading Room committee, the librarian, and her staff. We opened the meeting to nonmembers definitely known to be interested in Christian Science, as this was an excellent opportunity to interest them in our Reading Room. A letter of invitation was mailed to church members, regular church attendants, and parents of regularly enrolled Sunday School pupils. An announcement was also read from the desk one Sunday and one Wednesday prior to the meeting.
