NOW

Marjorie D. Manley

If we can say, "God reigns,"
And saying, understand,
Then we fulfill His law,
Obey His first command.

Free from the bonds of time
When Spirit points the way,
Tomorrow is born in hope,
Vanished is yesterday.

The patient one is he
Who heeds Truth's prompting rod
And so knows, day by day,
The graciousness of God.
