WRITTEN ON THE HEART

Written on the heart with angel's pen
Are all the sweet assurances we need,
Telling us wherever men must walk,
Love's light is there, omnipotent, to lead.

Written on the heart in letters gold,
Unsullied, ageless, ever more to be,
The message stays, and thus is ever told:
Thy Father cares; all must be well with thee.
