"O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever" (Ps. 118:1).

As a child I was a devout student of the Bible, but there were many things which perplexed me and which my mother and the pastor of the church I attended were unable to explain. Through my study of Christian Science these questions have been logically and satisfactorily answered.

I first became interested in this Science in 1904 when my mother was healed of a tumor through reading Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy. She was completely and permanently healed in three weeks, whereas physicians had said it would require a major operation.
