LIKE SUNSHINE AFTER RAIN!

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Laurie and his brother and sister were boarding with a kind woman whom they called Mumsey. She loved them dearly and helped them to use Christian Science in every way. It was the rule in her house that everyone should do his own right thinking—his mental work—for himself, and not ask for help unless a problem was too difficult; then he could ask her or someone else to help.

Each of the children had certain daily chores to do in the house and in the garden. They all went to the Christian Science Sunday School, where Mumsey was one of the teachers. And they found much help in applying what they learned there to their schoolwork and home chores, as well as to their play.

Often, after talking things over with Mumsey, the children found that they did not need to ask for help at all because there would be no problem left. They were all very grateful for the wonderful ways in which God, Love, met their needs; and they were full of gratitude for all the blessings which came to them through Christian Science.
