Christian Science, discovered and founded by Mary Baker Eddy, is the greatest blessing of my life. My mother became a student of Science before my birth; so I had the privilege of Science training in the home and at Sunday School.

One of the first outstanding healings I can remember was that of a severe case of foot disease. I was preparing to enter college in a distant state, but the complaint became so severe that I was confined to bed. To leave for college appeared impossible, but I decided to pack my trunk and make all necessary preparations for departure.

A day or so before I was to leave, while I was reading a copy of The Christian Science Journal, the thought came to me that I could go and that I would go even if I had to be carried. This was a case not of human will, but rather of being willing to do what was the nearest right at the moment. I was able to walk well enough to get on the train, and soon after reaching college I was able to take part in normal collegiate activities. I rejoiced in a complete healing.
