I have enjoyed the blessings of Christian Science for many years, and I wish to express my gratitude for it through our periodicals. Before coming into Science I was subject to quinsy every winter. This condition was healed through the help of a loving practitioner. I was also subject to a severe pain in the back of my head and neck. This difficulty was overcome through my knowing the truth in Christian Science. These healings have been permanent.

Sorrow at the passing of my husband was overcome when I saw that, as Mrs. Eddy tells us (Science and Health, p. 266), "Man is deathless, spiritual." Previously I was healed of sorrow at the passing of a sister. Christian Science has given me a reason for living: to express my Father-Mother God. I am daily striving to do this and to gain a clearer understanding of man in the image and likeness of God.

I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church, for many years of activity in a branch church, for class instruction, and for our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who loved mankind enough to give them the wonderful truth of the allness of God and the nothingness of evil.
