EVER-PRESENT OPPORTUNITY

The opportunities for the application of God's law as revealed in Christian Science are innumerable. The alert student of Science soon learns that the opportunity for utilizing this law is ever available in spite of all seeming material conditions. The student knows that divine Love meets his every need and that God's law, used rightly, blesses everyone concerned.

There is always opportunity for demonstrating the real man's complete spiritual harmony and perfection as revealed in Christian Science. This Science presents God as Spirit and the man of His creating as spiritual and Godlike. And it teaches that the material universe is but a false concept, to be corrected by the spiritual understanding of God's perfect creation.

Mary Baker Eddy writes (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 267), "Thought is borrowed from a higher source than matter, and by reversal, errors serve as waymarks to the one Mind, in which all error disappears in celestial Truth." It is natural for students of Christian Science to regard their problems as opportunities to prove God's allness and man's spiritual perfection through the application of the truths of Christian Science. When the genuine spiritual law governing the situation is applied, then that which would oppose this law disappears. Each healing is a step toward the complete revelation of Truth to individual human consciousness.
