I wish to express my deep gratitude...

I wish to express my deep gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me, and also for the privilege we have of helping each other through the testimonies in our periodicals and at our Wednesday testimony meetings in Churches of Christ, Scientist. I have had many healings in Science and should like to tell of one in particular.

For many years there were a number of hard growths on my elbows. Help was given in Christian Science, but with no result until the practitioner began working on the thought of supply, although my material supply had always been abundant. I studied page 495 of Science and Health, where Mrs. Eddy says: "If sickness is true or the idea of Truth, you cannot destroy sickness, and it would be absurd to try. Then classify sickness and error as our Master did, when he spoke of the sick, 'whom Satan hath bound,' and find a sovereign antidote for error in the life-giving power of Truth acting on human belief, a power which opens the prison doors to such as are bound, and sets the captive free physically and morally." In a short time the growths entirely disappeared.

I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, also for our literature, especially our daily newspaper, The Christian Science Monitor. This testimony would not be complete without my giving thanks for the consecrated practitioners.—(Mrs.) Emma H. Crawford, Downey, California.
