I should like to express my gratitude to God for Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, and for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who so unselfishly labored to give her revelation of Truth to the world. For over thirty years Christian Science has been my only physician, and I have had many opportunities to prove its teachings.

While helping a friend I severely injured my head and right shoulder. We both declared the truth, but I could not move my arm, and at times the pain was very sharp; so a Christian Science practitioner was called. For a while the pain continued, and I became unconscious; but in a very few minutes I regained consciousness, and these words were in my thought (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 536): "The divine understanding reigns, is all, and there is no other consciousness." Very soon I was able to move my arm, and in about an hour I drove my car home.

When I arrived the suggestion came: "You have been hurt. You had better lie down for a while." Again I took my stand with God. I read the weekly Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly, and I do not think I have ever read a more beautiful lesson. One inspiration after another came to me. The Scriptures were so illumined that I completely forgot the incident. A few hours later I returned to help my friend, for I was completely healed.
