The testimonies that are published in our periodicals, telling of the help people have experienced from the study and application of Christian Science, have encouraged and helped me in the solution of my own problems. The improvement in thinking and living gained from the study and practice of Science impels the gratitude and joy expressed in these testimonies. I should therefore like to add my bit to this wonderful store of blessings.

I learned of Christian Science from a schoolmate when I was nine years of age. She explained that God is the true healer. Her explanation was sufficient to convince me that this religion was exactly what I wanted. In a short time my parents consented to my changing Sunday Schools, and they began attending the Wednesday evening testimony meetings at a Church of Christ, Scientist.

When my Sunday School teacher told me that getting my feet wet in the rain could do me no harm because God did not make sickness, I believed it so wholeheartedly that never again did I catch cold in that manner. Christian Science has healed me of neuritis, stomach trouble, and measles. These healings were evidence of its curative efficacy. The freedom I now enjoy is due to its preventive value, which has spared me much suffering. Also, Science has helped me in the overcoming of social and financial problems.
