DON'T LET IT FOOL YOU!

The alert Christian Scientist, who knows that Spirit, divine Mind, is the only source of good, is not likely to be fooled by the belief that indulgence in materiality or sin can benefit him in some way.

Man, in his true being, is forever complete and satisfied as the infinite idea, or reflection, of Spirit, God. Jesus beheld this spiritual completeness of man so clearly that when the devil tempted him to believe in the power of matter to bestow good upon him, he was not deceived or mesmerized. Jesus's final reply to the devil was (Luke 4:8), "Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."
