RADIO PROGRAM No. 57 - The Divine Remedy for Human Ills

Terrel D. Joiner

On this program Terrel D. Joiner of Hollywood, California, told of his own experience as follows:

I suffered from what was diagnosed as cancer of the stomach. I was down to eighty pounds and unable to eat any solid food. When I was given but three days to live, I was taken on board a ship to San Francisco, where there is a Christian Science Sanatorium. After I reached the Sanatorium, I had a Christian Science practitioner come to see me. After talking with me a little while, he said: "Mr. Joiner, you are refusing to give up something. What is it?"

I said: "I've given up my business; I've given up a good deal else. In fact, about all I have left is a hope that God can heal me."
