THE ACCEPTED TIME

Beloved, now!
Not in the shadowy future, yet unseen.
When circumstance is hewn to mortal will.
What is to come hath now already been.
God's perfect work is done; therefore be still
And know our Father guides in ways of peace
Like as a shepherd with his gentle rod;
His loving care for us can never cease;
Beloved, now are we the sons of God.
