FOLLOW THE BEAM

However difficult the situation, however impenetrable seems the gloom, there is always a chink through which the light of Truth and Love can penetrate. The one who reaches out to God in his extremity is answered by an influx of light. Perhaps it is only a single ray, a solitary beam, a flash of inspiration, but it is enough to dissolve the problem.

It is perhaps well that the full effulgence of Truth comes only by degrees. When Moses felt the glory of God as it flooded his consciousness, his countenance was transformed. So bright was the revelation that it was partially veiled to the children of Israel, who were not so spiritually prepared as their great leader and lawgiver.

The light of Truth and Love is limitless in its effulgence. We catch glimpses of it in our exalted moments of spiritual inspiration, and these glimpses meet our need.
