It is with a deep sense of gratitude for the help I have received from the testimonies I have read and heard, and also with a desire to help others, that I submit this testimony. I have had many healings during my thirty-three years of studying Christian Science. It came to me at a time when I had taken a new position in an office where several of the workers were students of Science. That was the first time I had heard of this practical religion, but I was so impressed with the love and order expressed by these students that I too began to study Christian Science.

My first test came when our oldest son was sent home from work with a very serious throat ailment. A practitioner was asked to help him, but the ailment continued. My husband insisted on getting medical aid and did so, but when it became apparent that the boy was getting worse under medical treatment we called another Christian Science practitioner.

The practitioner came to our home, as I was new in Science and filled with fear. When she pointed out that we had been making a reality of the illness and then trying to heal it, the boy had an instantaneous healing. She told us to rejoice, and we really did, as we were so happy to have had this proof of the healing power of Truth.
