OUR TEACHER

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Susan loved to attend school. She liked her teacher very much and enjoyed playing with her classmates. Each day she looked forward to learning new things. She was pleased one day when the teacher said that she had not been tardy or absent from school.

However, during the following month she was absent several times. She was very unhappy when error told her that she did not feel well enough to go to school. She had missed much work and was afraid she would not be able to keep up with her class. She began to wonder what to do.

If she were at school and did not know an answer, she might ask her teacher. And if she were at Sunday School, her Sunday School teacher might be able to help her. Then she remembered to be grateful that her mother would help her.
