Christian Science came into my life before I left Germany. In expressing gratitude for it I should like to tell of the speedy healing of a tumor.

In 1951 I became very ill. At my daughters urgent request I had X rays taken by a physician, who diagnosed my case as a severe condition resulting from a tumor. He then insisted upon an operation at once. However, since I had great faith in God and did not want to undergo an operation, I asked a Christian Science practitioner for her kind help. Immediately she quieted my thought with the reply: "All is well. A tumor is only error. Read, and hold fast to your trust in God."

The practitioner lovingly took up the work. After two days I went to the hospital for another X ray, again at my daughter's request. It showed that there was no tumor. Those present thought that a miracle had occurred.
