Since I have been helped and encouraged so many times by a thought expressed or a healing related in a testimony in one of our periodicals, it is my sincere desire that someone may find encouragement through my testimony.

When I was a young child Christian Science came into our home through my mother's healing of a malignant tumor. She had undergone an unsuccessful operation and had been given up by the doctors as incurable, when a dear friend urged her to try Christian Science. This she did and was completely and permanently healed of the condition. She led an active and useful life as a professional singer and teacher for many years thereafter.

I was brought up in Christian Science and attended the Sunday School until I was twenty. I count as one of my greatest blessings my membership in The Mother Church and our local branch church, and I gratefully take part in the activities of the latter.
