For over twenty years I have been receiving the blessings which Christian Science brings. I shall never forget the joy and happiness f felt after reading Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy through twice in two consecutive weeks. At that time I was healed of muscular rheumatism, which had been troubling me for ten years and had rendered me helpless. For months after my healing I shed tears of gratitude.

Some time later I put off eyeglasses, which I had been wearing for twenty-five years or longer. The freedom which I experienced when I was able to lay them aside was unforgettable. This healing took place in eight or nine months simply through my reading Science and Health for several hours each day. Like the first healing, it has been permanent. I have had many other healings through my study of Christian Science. Home conditions have been changed, supply has been provided, and many proofs of our Father's loving care have been experienced.

Since childhood I had longed for a better understanding of God, and throughout my university training I sought it; but it was not until I took up the study of Christian Science that I was able to understand the Bible spiritually. Through my study of this Science I have been able to be a better citizen, home-maker, and friend. It would be difficult for me to live even one day without the understanding of Christ, Truth, and it is my desire to prove my gratitude by better service in our Father's vineyard.
