Christian Science came into my life at a time of great unhappiness and brought with it the complete restoration of a marriage that had ended in divorce. The perfect man of God's creating was so clear in my thought that after my former husband and I remarried there remained not even the memory of past misunderstandings.

A very impressive experience for me was the witnessing of mental orthodontia. Our small daughter's second teeth began to push through while the first were so firmly embedded that the dentist refused to pull them, saying that he felt orthodontia would be needed to correct the condition. Christian Science treatment was asked for, and we held to the truths that "with God all things are possible" (Matt. 19:26) and "the crooked shall be made straight" (Isa. 40:4). Within three days the child came to me with a tooth in her hand which had fallen into her lap while she was playing. In about two months the teeth straightened perfectly without dental aid. At the same time a report from school made special comment on the improvement in the child's work and behavior.

I have had healings of inflammation of the bladder, of influenza, and of weak ankles that were frequently sprained. This last condition was instantaneously healed at a Christian Science lecture. All swelling and discoloration caused by a sprained ankle had completely disappeared by the time I reached home, although I could scarcely stand before the lecture. This took place more than fifteen years ago, and I have had no further trouble with my ankles.
